A few words about condition...
There are no specific criteria for judging the condition of fruit crate labels. What is "mint" to one seller, may only be "very good" to another. In our auctions, we note a general overall condition such as "excellent", after which we tell you exactly what we see, taking great pains to mention any and all flaws - no matter how slight. Vintage paper, even under the best of storage conditions, may have some tiny imperfections.  If you have any questions, please call or e-mail us and we will be happy to assist you.
BE AWARE
of label reproductions
.....
Labels are great fun, they appeal to almost everyone - the graphics can be beautiful, funny, memorable and meaningful. There are many label reproductions, or copies, being sold on eBay. Whereas this can be great for many people who are now able to purchase the graphic from a very rare label which would be very expensive or impossible to find as an original, the fact remains that they are copies, either scanned from an original or even just copied off the internet. The label reproduction lacks the size and subtle nuances of an authentic label.  The printing is often grainy, on modern printer paper and just does not possess the pizzazz of the original.
Although many old labels aren't perfect, even their flaws are part of their charm and beauty - because they have survived as a piece of advertising history!
