E-Clypse EyeCup is attached to your camera using the viewfinder thread, in exactly the same way as the viewfinder magnifier and diopter lenses manufactured by Leica itself.
E-Clypse EyeCup fits Leica M cameras with an M12 × 0.5 viewfinder thread (all models from the Leica M9 back to the Leica M3).
E-Clypse EyeCup comes with a 42 mm diameter circular eyecup.
It works equally well whether the camera is held in portrait or landscape orientation. You can keep E-Clypse EyeCup on your camera permanently – its robust design and compact shape prevent it from becoming accidentally detached or being a hindrance when your Leica M is not being used, for example when stored in your camera bag.
