Vintage ERPHILA POTTERY Biscuit Cookie Jar Lid Cherry Cherries - Czechoslovakia

Description

Vintage ERPHILA ART POTTERY biscuit or cookie jar with the lid in the cherry pattern.  Made in Czechoslovakia in the 1930's, hand painted so no two are alike.  The jar measures 5 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" in diameter, 7" wide including the handles.
The biscuit jar is in good pre-owned vintage condition.  Missing the rattan bail typical of Erphila jars, dark stains on the handles where the rattan bail attached (see picture 7), missing some orange paint from wear (see picture 8).  No cracks, chips or crazing!
A beautiful biscuit jar in the hard to find cherry pattern!
