This listing is for a Brand New unused Viair 425C "Platinum" Single Compresor
. Most suitable for
LIGHT WEIGHT
air suspension, train horn, hot rods as well as load support applications. Viair 425C is a 175 PSI max air compressor with 50% duty cycle @ 100 PSI. Max. 12V AMP draw is 60 AMPS. This compressor comes with ingress protection rating of IP67, means these can be mounted underneath the vehicle to survive the harsh conditions.
Note: Please do not over tighten the leader hose into this tank as it may damage the check valve inside the leader hoses.
Note:
Use thread sealant for proper installation. Teflon tape is not recommended. Properly sealed, recommended torque is 12 to 15 ft. lbs. Do not mount compressors upside down as the heat coming off compressor head may damage it. Use proper gauge wire to prevent compressor from over heating.
