Summary:
Installing in a 35 Ford slant back sedan with a Bill Stroppe type 302 Ford motor my father built for me 44 years ago. The quality and welding are very nice. They will get detailed out and go to the plater. Well engineered with nice components.

Summary:
This kit is listed as being for 35 to 40 Fords. I wondered if it would work on my 41 Ford sedan. I looked at this setup and compared dimensions for the 40 and 41 Ford. After researching it for a month or two, I dedided to pull the trigger and purchase this kit. Just as I had thought, with some very minor adjustments (and 6 hours of trial and error) this set up fits the 41 nicely! Its going to be awhile before I can test it on the road since this is a frame off build, but I dont think there will be any problems. I also added a new spring with reversed eyes and plan on adding the panhard bar and shocks.

Summary:
I used this kit to replace my existing split wishbones to make room for an overdrive transmission. The parts arrive in bare metal and require cleaning and painting so allow time for that. Installation was straightforward and trouble-free. It was necessary, however, for me to grind my Magnum dropped axle slightly to make room for the front brackets. Otherwise, it was simply bolt-in.

Return Policy
