An uncirculated 100 Lire coin from San Marino.  It is 27.80 mm wide and weighs 8.0 grams.
The design features Saint Marinus crossing the Adriatic in flight from Roman persecution in Dalmatia, the island of Rab (Croatia) to the right. The mountains of San Marino, his future home, to the left.
Coin housed in inert plastic baggie intended for short-term storage.

Coins shipped via standard envelope are shipped first class in envelopes with tracking. Generally, coins shipped for .99c are standard envelope. The coins are packaged between two pieces of cardboard, or card stock paper. I have found this to be a very safe way to ship coins for several years and have not had any issues yet, though it is always possible something can go wrong.
