DESCRIPTION: What can I say about Peter Wolf he was a great talented artist with unique art dolls when he came to the USA from Germany to Toy Fair each year.
He passed away at the young age of 59 only a few years ago. He was such a talent and such a good spirit. I miss him greatly.
This is one of his amazing art works that has a moving mechanism called an automaton. The Young Cavalier is a 16th century figure that Peter created  especially for A Century of Dolls.
This automaton arms move up and down with the cane  and hat in his hands and his head moves also.
The turning mechanism  plays music and that is in the base of that he stands on.
He is dressed in fine antiques trims and lace as all of Peters art figures that are in my eBay store.
All the art figures shown in my eBay store at this time all work together since they are 16th and 17th century court figures.
Peter created a large body of work in his years in Germany utilizing the finest of antique fabrics and trims that both he and his mother collected over the years.
Each of his figures is dressed in these fine antique trims and metal lace.
Each one of a kind Art Sculpture  by Peter is a treasure to behold.
Peter worked in Fimo a hand molded resin clay  that looks so lifelike when molded, so it is the perfect medium to create art figures that look so realistic.
The details in the character faces of his sculptures is amazingly real.
Also his figures are posable the arms and legs usually can be posed to make them look like they are alive. Each figural art sculpture has the Peter Wolf COA tag.
