    Description

This is a rare color litho postcard showing a scene of the unusual wooden Maine Central Railroad bridge crossing the Kennebec River. Beautiful artwork with the reflection in the river. This location was on a Maine Central railway branch out of Waterville, then a third branch out of Oakland that dead-ended in Bingham! I personally love the scene with an "American" 4-4-0 steam loco with a freight train. PC is only postmarked ["NORRIDG... 1910"], with a pen message. Printed in Germany, published by Lehighton of Portland. VG condition. I have other Maine RR-themed PC's available, please check my other auctions! Always free shipping. Thanks.
