This watch was produced by Seiko for Honda Motor Co. (released in 1989) and sold as fan merchandise around the world during the Senna/Prost McLaren-Honda era. This time coincided with the popularity of the Transformers brand TV series and toys, hence the styling of the watch.
I am the original owner of the watch having purchased it on a business trip to Japan. It has been in deep storage many years, but a fresh battery brought it immediately back to life!
