    You are bidding on a very rare original antique engraving from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
    It depicts two beautiful pointer breeds. On the bottom is a beautiful English Pointer dog (Pointer Anglais) named Don and owned by Paul Caillard. THe top is a Large French Pointer (Le Grand Braque)
    The caption reads:  Don, Pointer Anglais appartenant a m. Paul
    Caillard
    which roughly translates to:

    It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture area is about
    6.75 x 10.5 inches (17 x 26.5 cm), with a French caption below and text above it. The text could easily be trimmed before framing, or hidden under a window mat.
    The page is in excellent condition for its age.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
