    Description

    An adorable handmade soft doll by the incredible artist Dianne Dengel.  "ORANGE STRIPE GIRL" is about 17" tall sitting in her chair. On her own she is about 14" tall.   She wears an orange & white striped top with sleeves, off-white pants and no socks.   She sits on a chair.  She is not signed or dated.  The clothing was not made by Dianne or her mother.
    From the Dianne Dengel estate in Rochester, NY: Dianne Dengel's dolls were created to represent people as they are - clothing may have what look like smudge spots or the hair is mussed.   Since she handmade each one, they are each imperfectly perfect.  Any 'imperfection' in the doll was the way she wanted them.  Dianne passed away in 2012.
