Art Doll Black Folk Art African American OOAK Handmade Clay Melandolly

Description

Shauna is a hand made doll, her limbs are sculpted from paper clay, her head was cast in plaster off of an original piece which was also made by me, and her body is made of cloth. She has a head full of deep brown wool hair, and she is covered with a protective coating so that the paint that was used on her won't chip or fade. She also has a hook on the back so that she can be placed on a wall.
Note: Her head is plaster and was created from a mold. Each doll made from this mold has their own style, differences in each face, and none will look exactly like the other due to painting and finishing processes!
