Well maintained, garage kept, low mileage 1989 Volvo 240 wagon with automatic transmission. The interior was refurbished prior to my ownership (seats, carpet, cargo area) and appears like new. This is an exceptionally clean, rust free Volvo 240 wagon finished in Volvo factory "wine red" over black vinyl interior. You'll find the usual minor paint scratches and areas of touchup but a real looker.
Everything works except the odometer which shows 130,400 miles. My best research is that the true mileage is closer to 180,000. Includes owners manual and some service receipts. The odometer issue is unfortunately all too common on Volvo 240's as the culprit is almost always a broken plastic cog in the dash pod itself - parts are easily sourced.
Electric windows and power door locks all work as they should.
Cold a/c... (converted to R134)
heat is hot like every Volvo.
Current 3/23 Virginia inspection sticker though because I drive it rarely, I run antique tags
Stock original radio works (cassette player does not)
new motor mount installed this past summer
oil/filter and battery all done within the past 1,000 miles
nice original chrome roof rack
good glass all around
no leaks!!
interior is near perfect. There's a small one inch tear on drivers seat bottom
dash in great shape...the custom cover hides only two small cracks (can send a photo if requested)

Starts right up, runs, shifts and drives with zero issues. Smooth and straight down the road. No disappointments.
Currently running on brand new 15" tires that have less than 500 miles on them. I replaced the stock 14" wheels with Volvo 240 Turbo wheels, also known as "Virgo's" that are painted and have new center caps.
*****If the new owner prefers, I have an excellent set of stock 14" Volvo wheels, tires and stock caps that I can swap over if the new owner prefers that original look*****
Currently garaged in Earlysville, Va., a few miles from the Charlottesville airport. Fly in and drive it home. I have full confidence it would travel coast to coast without issue. Please note the title says "rebuilt" as a result of an insurance claim from prior owner... an unfortunate front end collision with a deer. The hood was repaired/repainted, a new widshield installed and a new front grille and headlights. The frame is straight and there's no real exidence of any other body repairs. Drives true and straight down the road.
