    Description

Highly desirable Volvo 240 Manual 5 Speed Wagon. I’m the second owner. My brother bought the car new in Wilmington, Delaware. (See photos of original sales invoice.) He regularly maintained the car, and I have most, if not all the maintenance records/receipts. I also regularly maintain the car, including a recent oil change. I drove the car to Travis AFB, California (near Sacramento) in 2018 to drive when I was working on Travis AFB in the Reserves, and drove it back to Tacoma, Washington in March of 2022, because I retired from the Air Force Reserves. It drove great on the 750-mile trip to Tacoma. My Volvo repair guy says the underside is in good condition (see pictures). There doesn’t appear to be any rust except for what appears to be surface rust near the panel next to the rear of the hood. The front seat had covers since new, so the vinyl is in great condition. No kids or pets in the car, so the rear seat looks good, too. (See interior pictures for condition of interior.) The A/C no longer blows cold air, and the heater fan occasionally makes a noise. This car is a tank! The one accident it was in was a rear-end collision that caused minimal damage of a broken tail light and a small dent in the back hatch door. It was professionally repaired by City Center Collision in Tacoma in 2016. Includes a roof rack that has one bike mount. This is a neat car, but we no longer need a third car. More photos of the car are on Autotrader Classics. The Buyer agrees that the Vehicle is sold "as is," and the Seller makes no express or implied warranties as to the condition or performance of the Vehicle.
